Many off-year elections deal with lesser important issues, but not in 2023. There were a couple of pivotal elections to follow, especially Issue 1 in Ohio. In years past, Ohio has been considered a conservative state, but voters passed through a constitutional amendment that puts Ohioans on par with California.
