Returning as today's guest on "The Mike Gilland Show" - Dave Zanotti, popular host of "The Public Square", heard nationally on radio, including The Shepherd Radio Network. Dave recaps the recent July 4th Celebration for America's 250th, a huge event that was held at The American Mission Center. Dave outlines how their observance for the birthday of America grew beyond just this event - to include a new building set to honor the Declaration of Independence.
An amazingly talented group of Nashville players provided the special music for that event, including top session musician Jeff Taylor, The French Family, Dennis Parker, and others. Dennis Parker has traveled the world when he was part of Ricky Skaggs' band, "Kentucky Thunder," and is now working as a solo artist. In this episode, Dennis is featured in a beautiful acoustic arrangement of "Jesus Loves Me."
