For many years, Vanessa Echols came into the homes of TV viewers as part of her role as a news anchor for WFTV, Channel 9 in Orlando. She shares what it was like to receive praises from her fellow black journalists, and also the group of people that she thought to be the most interesting to interview. She is a cancer survivor, and is still active in the community that she loves.
