She was immersed in the fields of social work and public service, but a challenge to consider law school proved to be a solid choice. She switched majors, and became part of Orlando history as a member of the inaugural class of the FAMU College of Law. She shares with John her heart to serve, and outlines her responsibilities as the General Counsel for the Orange County Clerk, helping in reviewing policies, taking part in statewide committees, and in general helping residents.
